PeniRev Introduces Free Fall Boxer Briefs for Men Who Want Comfort Without the Restrictive Fit

Sep 18, 2026

Live on Kickstarter, PeniRev Free-Fall Boxer Briefs are designed to reduce skin-on-skin contact, improve airflow, and deliver all-day comfort.

Kanagawa, Japan, September 18, 2026 -- Free-Fall Boxer Briefs, a revolutionary new men's underwear design from functional goods brand PeniRev, are designed to address a common problem with traditional men's underwear: finding a balance between the tight fit of boxer briefs and the loose fit of traditional trunks. The company is currently live on global platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.

Developed through repeated prototyping and real-world testing, Free-Fall Boxer Briefs feature a high-rise and low-rise design intended to provide a more relaxed fit while giving the wearer greater freedom and comfort throughout the day. The low-rise design was developed specifically for men with larger waistlines who may find conventional underwear uncomfortable or restrictive and gives same comfortableness with high-rise design.

The idea behind Free-Fall began with a simple problem experienced by PeniRev founder Kamiya. After previously developing anti-phimosis boxer pants, Kamiya found himself looking for a different type of underwear once that product had served its purpose.

“I was looking for underwear that were more comfortable for me,” says Kamiya, founder of PeniRev, on the inspiration behind the project. “Traditional boxer briefs were too tight because I was used to wearing trunks, but trunks were sometimes too loose. I could not find the fit I wanted, so I decided to create it myself.”

Unlike conventional boxer briefs that can place the body in a more restrictive fit, Free-Fall is designed around a different approach to men's comfort and movement.

Key Features of Free-Fall Boxer Briefs:

  • Balanced Fit — Designed to bridge the gap between tight-fitting boxer briefs and looser traditional trunks.
  • High-Rise Design – Developed for daily use cases, for men who can keep waist band to just below navel line.
  • Low-Rise Design — Developed to provide a more relaxed and comfortable fit, specifically for men with larger waistlines.
  • Comfort-Focused Construction — Designed around the founder's experience with the limitations of conventional men's underwear and evaluated by more than 10 monitor users.
  • Hole on inner layer – Effective to restrict banana to move/fall and avoid banana to become together with balls.
  • Freedom of Balls Movement — Created to reduce the restrictive feeling that can come with traditional boxer briefs.
  • Extensive Wear Testing — Refined through multiple rounds of prototypes and feedback from friends, colleagues, local fire service colleagues , and a body therapist.
  • Designed for Everyday Use — Created as functional men's underwear intended for comfortable daily wear.

The development of Free Fall Boxer Briefs builds on PeniRev's experience creating functional men's underwear designed around specific physical needs and designed around how men actually live and move.

“There are some boxer designs that provide more room, and I tested and wore many existing types of underwear, but I could not find the best fit for me,” adds Kamiya. “So I made many samples and asked different people to try them. Their feedback helped me to improve the product again and again.”

Knicks pause ticket sales after mistake caused them to be listed at prices too high

NEW YORK — The New York Knicks said Thursday they are pausing ticket sales after a mistake caused them to be listed for amounts that were too high. The NBA champions put individual game tickets for the 2026-27 season on sale this week. The get-in price for the Oct. 20 season opener against Philadelphia was more than $1,000. “We are pausing Knicks individual ticket sales due to a mistake in our pricing. We are rolling back to last year’s prices plus an average increase of 12%. We will restart sales with new prices shortly, and anyone who already purchased individual tickets will be refunded the difference," Madison Square Garden Sports said in a statement. There is generally a ticket increase after seasons when the Knicks made the playoffs. Owner James Dolan has not raised them when the team does not. “Our intention was never to overcharge our loyal fans, and we thank everyone for their support of the Knicks and their patience as we get this right,” MSG said. The process for purchasing season tickets began months ago and was not affected. "Fan first" sales for those who sign up to get priority for single-game tickets at face value was on Monday and Tuesday, and general public sales began Wednesday.

Brunson already is set to host the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” on Sept. 26. He made an appearance Monday in the opening of the Emmy Awards telecast that was hosted by “Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay. Hargitay is a Knicks fan who attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals as New York rallied from a 29-point deficit to beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106, a victory that sparked the franchise to its first title since 1973.
