These terms apply when you use aseancoverage.com and its section sites, finance, technology, entertainment, sports and culture (together, "Asean Coverage", "we", "us"). By using the sites you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites.

Reading and using the sites

The sites are free to read. You may link to any page. Please do not interfere with the sites or with other readers' use of them, try to reach parts of the sites that are not public, or collect our stories in bulk without our permission.

Our stories

Our stories are written by the Asean Coverage editorial team in our own words, from reports, announcements and press releases that others have published. The text of our stories, the design of the sites and our logo belong to Asean Coverage or to the people who license them to us. You may quote a short passage of a story if you credit Asean Coverage and link to the story. To copy a whole story, or to use our text in another product, ask us first through the contact page.

Sources, pictures and company announcements

Every story is written from a report that someone else has already published. Names, trademarks and pictures that belong to other publishers or companies stay theirs. A picture taken from a source carries a credit.

Company announcements are published as the companies provided them, under their own heading. We do not write or edit them, and we do not check them. The company that issued an announcement is responsible for it.

No advice

Our stories report what a source said. They are not investment, legal, tax or medical advice, and they do not tell you what to buy, sell or do. Check important facts with the source and with a professional before you act on them.

Mistakes, corrections and removals

We check our stories, but a story can still contain a mistake. If you find one, tell us on the corrections page. If you published a source or a picture that we used and you want it removed, tell us through the contact page and name the story. We withdraw it. How we write and check stories is described in the editorial policy.

Links to other sites

Our pages can link to other sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or for how they handle your information.

Availability and our responsibility

We try to keep the sites running and accurate, but we provide them as they are, without a promise that they will be available at all times or free of errors. We may change or stop any part of the sites. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using the sites or from relying on a story. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the sites after a change, you accept the new terms.
