Abra win by 52 points as Pasay edge Meycauayan in MPBL playoffs
Both teams are one victory from the North Division semifinals, with their next quarterfinal games set for October 15 at Meycauayan Sports Complex.

The Abra Solid North Weavers defeated the Quezon City Darkhorse 106-54, while the Pasay Voyagers needed overtime to beat the Meycauayan Marilao Gems 66-64 in the SportsPlus MPBL 2026 quarterfinals. The North Division games were played at Gov. Andres Bernos Memorial Gymnasium in Bangued, Abra.
Defending national champions Abra established a 34-15 lead in the opening quarter. DJ Fenner led their scoring with 19 points, adding four steals, two rebounds and four assists. Dave Ildefonso and Raven Gonzales each scored 14 points, while Shaun Ildefonso contributed 13. Kobe Monje finished with 14 points for Quezon City and was its only player to reach double figures.
Christian Fajarito supplied three of Pasay's final four overtime points as Meycauayan Marilao failed to score during the closing 2:41. Named Best Player, Fajarito finished with nine rebounds and 12 points, alongside two blocks and three assists. Lennard Santiago also scored 12 points for the Voyagers.
Pasay had led 52-42 early in the fourth quarter before the Gems moved ahead 55-52 with 5:07 remaining. Agem Miranda scored 15 points for Meycauayan Marilao, while Jayson Apolonio collected 17 rebounds and 13 points. Abra and Pasay can each complete a sweep of their three-game series on October 15 at Meycauayan Sports Complex and secure a semifinal place.
