Kuching City coach Aidil Sharin Sahak has urged his players to tighten their discipline before hosting Kitchee at Taha Ariffin Stadium in the AFC Champions League Two (ACL2). His side sit last in Group H following defeat at Phnom Penh Crown in their opening game.

The Malaysian club approach the fixture having beaten Kelantan City 4-1 on aggregate to reach the FA Cup semi-finals. Aidil cautioned, however, that success in domestic competition would not by itself be sufficient at Asian level.

The Singaporean coach said mistakes remained an area his team needed to address. He urged the players to avoid basic errors that could lead to opposition goals and damage morale, stressing that his demanding standards required continued improvement rather than satisfaction with their current performance.

Kitchee have one point from their opening fixture, a 1-1 draw against South Korea's Gangwon. The meeting is Kuching's first home match of the group campaign.
