Thailand’s Sinsamut Klinmee ended a two-fight losing run by knocking out Shintaro Matsukura at ONE SAMURAI 4, held at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on October 17. His lightweight kickboxing victory brought him a fifth performance bonus worth US$50,000.

A right head kick from Sinsamut sent the Japanese debutant to the canvas, with the stoppage coming 1:17 into the second round. The result lifted Sinsamut’s career record to 84-22.

Thai-Algerian fighter Nabil Anane also returned to winning form, earning a unanimous points verdict against Yuki Yoza in bantamweight kickboxing. Anane attacked from range with punches, kicks and knees, while Yoza responded with calf kicks and body hooks. All three judges favoured Anane, whose record moved to 42-7.

In the women’s atomweight MMA rematch, Itsuki Hirata earned her ninth career win after the judges unanimously favoured her over Jihin Radzuan. Hirata used takedowns and submission attempts to overturn the outcome of their encounter four years earlier, which Jihin had won on a split decision.

Kota Abe, meanwhile, earned a main roster contract worth US$100,000 after a lightweight MMA victory over Shozo Isojima. The referee stopped the contest 1:34 into the opening round for a TKO, taking Abe to 7-1 with every victory achieved by stoppage.
