Arema FC beat previously unbeaten Dewa United 4-0 in the Super League on 25 October, with Careca scoring twice. In the other match, Persita held Bali United to a 1-1 draw at Banten International Stadium.

Dewa United applied pressure early on but could not break through Arema's defence. The hosts took the lead after half an hour when Careca finished inside the penalty area from a Gabriel Silva pass.

Careca added a header five minutes into the second half. Goalkeeper Sonny Stevens pushed the ball away, but the referee awarded the goal following a VAR review.

Substitute Samuel Otusanya made it 3-0 in the 65th minute, tapping in a Marcos Vinicius delivery. Julian Guevara completed the scoring late on from Gustavo Franca's free kick.

Bali United went ahead against Persita in the 28th minute through Marko Dugandzic, who converted a pass from Thijmen Goppel. Pablo Ganet rescued a point for Persita in the closing seconds.

Persija remained top of the standings with 15 points, ahead of Dewa United on 14 and Bali United on 13. Persita were fifth with 11 points, while Arema occupied ninth place with 9.
