Marco Bezzecchi set the fastest lap in the second free practice session for the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia at Mandalika on 10 October. His time of 1 minute 29.560 seconds put him ahead of Raul Fernandez in second and Marc Marquez in third.

The lead changed repeatedly in the opening five minutes at the Lombok circuit. Bezzecchi initially recorded 1 minute 30.995 seconds before Pedro Acosta and then Fernandez moved ahead. Fernandez improved his lap to 1 minute 29.899 seconds.

A crash involving Toprak Razgatlioglu at turns 13/14 prompted a red flag. He was seen walking while holding his right shoulder. Bezzecchi later regained first place with a lap of 1 minute 29.620 seconds, and no rival displaced him in the closing minutes.

Fabio Di Giannantonio finished fourth, followed by Jorge Martin and Acosta. Ai Ogura, Fermin Aldeguer, Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez completed the top 10. Qualifying follows, determining starting positions for both the sprint and the main race.
