Gomez de Liaño triple-double helps Converge beat Titan Ultra

The 152-119 victory took the FiberXers to a 6-4 record in Group A of the PBA Season 50 Governors' Cup.

Converge survived a third-quarter comeback by Titan Ultra before pulling clear to win 152-119 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 11, 2026. Juan Gomez de Liaño led the effort with 32 points, collecting 12 rebounds and supplying 13 assists for a triple-double.

Cameron Clark added 30 points and three rebounds as Converge extended its winning streak in the PBA Season 50 Governors' Cup. The result left the FiberXers with a 6-4 Group A record.

Titan Ultra had trailed by as much as 30 points before its outside shooting narrowed the gap. Joshua Munzon, Denzel Wong and Tirrell Brown helped bring the score to 95-84, while RR Garcia's four-point basket later cut Converge's lead to 97-90.

In the fourth quarter, two consecutive layups by Gomez de Liaño and Clark's three-point play took Converge's advantage to 112-97. Justine Baltazar's putback and floater made it 116-97, followed by a one-handed dunk from Jaydee Tungcab.

Head coach Delta Pineda said Converge needed further adjustments and more consistent intensity, noting that his players sometimes relaxed despite their ability to score.
