Fajar and Fikri beat Liang and Wang to reach Denmark Open final
The Indonesian third seeds won in three games against China's second seeds after losing their two previous meetings at the 2026 Asian Games.

Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri reached the men's doubles final at the 2026 Denmark Open by defeating Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang 21-16, 16-21, 21-16. The semi-final took place at Fyn Arena in Odense on 17 October.
The third-seeded Indonesians broke clear after an opening stretch level at 7-7, taking three successive points and reaching the first-game interval 11-8 ahead. They extended their advantage to 20-12 before the Chinese second seeds narrowed the gap. Fajar and Fikri eventually closed out the game 21-16.
Liang and Wang took control of the second game after 5-5. The Indonesians fell behind 6-10 and later 12-19. A run of four points reduced the deficit, but they could not prevent the Chinese pair from taking the game 21-16.
In the decider, Fajar and Fikri led 5-2 and 7-3 before Liang and Wang recovered to hold a one-point advantage at the interval. Three consecutive points after the break put the Indonesians back ahead at 13-11.
Fajar and Fikri then moved 17-13 in front. Although Liang and Wang cut that lead to 17-15, the Indonesians pulled away again to 19-15 before sealing the deciding game 21-16.
