Indonesia secures four places in Asian Games lead climbing finals

Two men and two women will contest the medal rounds on 3 October at Portmesse Nagoya Exhibition I.

Sukma Lintang Cahyani, Alma Ariella, Putra Tri Ramadani and Raviandi Ramadhan have advanced to the lead climbing finals at the 2026 Asian Games. Indonesia has two qualifiers in each of the men's and women's events, with both finals scheduled for 3 October.

Putra earned third place in the men's semi-final by reaching hold 36. Raviandi's score of 23 put him seventh, giving Indonesia a second place in the men's medal round.

The top two men's results belonged to Japan's Neo Suzuki and Satone Yoshida. Suzuki reached hold 43, while Yoshida scored 39+, ahead of both Indonesian climbers.

In the women's semi-final on 2 October at Portmesse Nagoya Exhibition I, Sukma ranked sixth and Alma seventh in a field of 14. Each recorded a score of 39+.

Ai Mori and Chaehyun Seo topped the women's results after both completed the climbing wall. Portmesse Nagoya Exhibition I will also host the men's and women's finals.
