The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has postponed two FA Cup fixtures planned for 17 October at Jurong East Stadium because of haze. Both the final and the match for third place will be rescheduled, with details to follow.

In an advisory issued late on 16 October, FAS said the western region’s Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) was above 200. That breached the limit for amateur fixtures set by the FAS-Singapore Premier League (SPL) Haze Management Protocol 2026.

Police Sports Association (Police SA), who finished as FA Cup runners-up in 2025, will face Gymkhana Gaulois in the 2026 final. South Avenue will meet Bishan Barx for third place. Police SA, South Avenue and Bishan Barx compete in Singapore Football League (SFL) 1; Gymkhana Gaulois are in SFL 2.

Developed with input from SportSG, the protocol covers football matches and training at professional, amateur and youth levels. Amateur games need a forecast PSI no higher than 200, alongside a one-hour PM2.5 reading within Band 1 or Band 2. Youth games and training require Band 1 and a PSI forecast not exceeding 100. At Band 4, FAS suspends or postpones every match and training session. The association has the final say on whether a match goes ahead.
