Dicky Marani and Hariri Maulana each scored twice as Indonesia moved to the top of Group G with three points.

Indonesia opened their 2026 Under-15 World Cup campaign with a 7-1 victory over Fiji in Hovsan, Azerbaijan, on 24 October, CNN Indonesia reported. The eight-a-side match took place on Field 1A at the Hovsan Sports Complex.
Nazar Alfiansyah put Indonesia ahead in the first minute, but Ryan Swami brought Fiji level in the 11th. Dicky Marani restored the lead for Furqon Alkatiri’s side in the 21st minute, before Hariri Maulana added a third in the 26th.
An error by a Fiji player led to Indonesia’s fourth goal in the 28th minute. Hariri scored again in the 34th, Dicky added his second in the 38th and Rendra Maulana completed the scoring in the 40th. The match consisted of two 20-minute halves.
The result left Indonesia provisionally leading Group G with three points and the group’s highest goal tally. Portugal, Wales, Bangladesh and Burundi are also in the group.
Group winners advance to the Tier A knockout stage, the route to the final. Runners-up enter Tier B, while teams finishing third through sixth continue in Tiers C to F to determine their final placings.
