A boccia victory by Felix Ardi Yudha lifted Indonesia past its target of seven golds at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games, bringing its gold count to eight, Indonesian sports officials said.

Competing at Nagoya City General Gymnasium, Felix overcame Thai opponent Phakphum Linchum 5-3 to claim the BC2 men’s individual title. Rima Ferdianto, deputy secretary-general of Indonesia’s National Paralympic Committee (NPC), confirmed that the delegation had exceeded its original goal.

Three Indonesian golds have come from boccia. Before Felix’s win, Handayani took the BC1 women’s individual title and Gischa Zayana won the BC2 women’s individual competition.

Maulana Rifky Yavianda contributed two golds in para-swimming. In para-athletics, gold medals went to I Kadek Dwi Purwana Yasa and Karisma Evi Tiarani, while Muhammad Fadli Imammuddin won gold in para-cycling.

By Wednesday evening, the delegation also held six silver medals and 19 bronze. NPC officials said further podium finishes remained possible in swimming, athletics, para-badminton and team boccia.
