Indonesia cabinet secretary urges support for Mandalika MotoGP
Organisers say tickets for the 9–11 October 2026 event have sold out across all categories, including the premium royal box.

Indonesian Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya has urged residents to help make the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 a success as Mandalika hosts the MotoGP event on 9–11 October 2026. The races are taking place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
In a post on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account on 10 October, Teddy said international attention was focused on Mandalika. He encouraged residents to welcome visitors warmly and demonstrate Indonesia’s ability to host international sporting events.
Teddy also highlighted young Indonesian riders Mario Aji and Veda Ega Pratama, saying they were ready to compete alongside international racers and bring enthusiasm and hope for Indonesia.
Separately, event chairman Troy Reza Warokka said in Mandalika on 9 October that no tickets remained in any category despite continuing demand, according to Antara. He said the premium royal box was among the categories that sold out fastest, while demand for VIP facilities was also high. Troy described ticket demand as a positive sign for the event.
