Indonesia earns US$650,000 prize for FIFA ASEAN Cup title
PSSI says the championship payment excludes participation money, win bonuses and funds linked to Indonesia's role as host.

Indonesia's victory in the inaugural FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 earned the national team US$650,000, equivalent to Rp11.63 billion, PSSI executive committee member Achmad Riyadh confirmed. Indonesia defeated Thailand 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the final on 5 October.
Riyadh gave the prize figure in a message to CNN Indonesia on 6 October. The championship award is separate from participation payments, bonuses for victories and money associated with hosting the tournament.
Indonesia hosted matches in Jakarta and Bandung. Two wins and a draw from three group fixtures put the team top of Group A and into the final. The title match finished 2-2 before being decided on penalties.
Thailand received US$495,000, equivalent to Rp8.87 billion, according to Thai outlet Siam Sport. That amount included US$125,000, or Rp2.24 billion, for participation and US$120,000, or Rp2.15 billion, in bonuses for two group-stage wins.
The largest component of Thailand's payment was the runner-up award of US$250,000, equivalent to about Rp4.47 billion.
