Indonesia were eliminated from semi-final contention at the Copa das Nacoes de Futsal 2026 after Cape Verde beat them 0-2 on 17 October. The match took place at Max Ronsenmann Arena in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, Brazil.

Fabio Miguel Semedo Barros put Cape Verde ahead in the sixth minute from a Fred Almeida pass. Almeida then scored a minute later after receiving a through ball from Domingos Xavier Pinto Gomes.

Indonesia continued to create chances after the interval but could not score. Samuel Eko's backheel attempt in the 27th minute was stopped, while Cape Verde's Wilson Cabral sent a rebound over the bar in the 29th.

Indonesia adopted a power play in the 32nd minute, with Muhammad Iqbal and Kareth alternating as flying goalkeeper. Samuel Eko shot over in the 36th minute as Indonesia remained scoreless. The defeat followed their 0-3 loss to Brazil in their opening match.
