Indonesia to face Jordan in November after FIFA ASEAN Cup title
Coach John Herdman says two friendlies are planned as preparations for the 2027 Asian Cup, but the second opponent remains unnamed.

Indonesia will play Jordan on 13 November 2026 at Amman International Stadium as it prepares for the 2027 Asian Cup following its FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 victory. The fixture is one of two friendlies planned for the November international window.
Coach John Herdman told reporters in Jakarta on 5 October that Indonesia intended to make use of the break for two major matches. He did not identify the other opponent, asking fans to wait for an official announcement at the appropriate time.
Jordan will subsequently meet Australia as part of its schedule during the same international window.
Indonesia's players have rejoined their respective clubs after the tournament. Kevin Diks and Joey Pelupessy hurried to the airport following the team's title win.
The 2027 Asian Cup is Indonesia's next major tournament. Its Group F opponents will be Japan, Qatar and Thailand.
