Indonesia to assess new players at seven-day Bali training camp
A planned trip to face Jordan has been cancelled, with Indonesia opting for training during the November FIFA international window.

Indonesia coach John Herdman plans to bring new players into a seven-day national team training camp in Bali in mid-November 2026. The camp will form part of preparations for qualifying for the 2030 World Cup.
Indonesia had been due to travel to Jordan for a match but cancelled the trip amid uncertainty in West Asia. Rather than arrange a replacement opponent, the team will use the November FIFA international window for training.
In comments carried on PSSI's official website, Herdman cited the postponement of the AFC Asian Cup and the escalating regional situation in the Middle East as reasons for abandoning the planned match programme there.
Herdman said the camp would combine established squad members with newcomers, allowing him to assess their potential, develop tactical understanding and improve teamwork while building squad depth. The list of players called up for the November camp has not yet been announced.
