Indonesia will meet Panama in the Tier C round of 16 at the 2026 U-15 World Cup and FIFA Festival after overcoming Moldova on penalties in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 28 October.

The Panama match is scheduled for 21:15 local time on 28 October, or 00:15 Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on 29 October. Victory would put Indonesia into a quarter-final against either Hungary or Luxembourg on 29 October.

Indonesia's round-of-32 match at Hovsan Competition Complex ended 3-3 before the team won the shootout 9-8. Muhammad Nazar opened the scoring in the third minute, and Indonesia took a 1-0 advantage into half-time.

Both sides added goals after the break. Indonesia were still ahead 3-2 late in the game, but Moldova equalised shortly before the end to force penalties.

Panama reached the last 16 by defeating Kazakhstan 7-0 on 28 October. Indonesia, coached by Furqon Alkatiri, had earlier lost 1-2 in the group stage to Portugal, who went on to qualify for Tier A.
