Indonesia secured a bronze medal in women's quadrant sepak takraw at the 2026 Asian Games after Thailand defeated them in the semi-finals on 2 October. The match took place at Nagoya City Mizuho Park Gymnasium.

Thailand took control in the opening set and won it 15-9. Indonesia then lost the second set 15-4, giving Thailand a 2-0 victory and a place in the final.

There is no third-place match in the women's quadrant competition, so teams eliminated in the semi-finals receive bronze medals. The result brought Indonesia's sepak takraw medal tally to three, all bronze, following medals in the men's and women's team events.

Men's quadrant remains Indonesia's only remaining chance to add another sepak takraw medal. Muhammad Hardiansyah Muliang and his teammates are due to face Myanmar in the semi-finals.

Myanmar won silver in the event at the 2025 SEA Games after losing to Vietnam, while Indonesia's quadrant team did not reach the semi-finals.
