Indonesia secured a medal in women's pairs padel at the 2026 Asian Games after Fadona Kusumawati and Fitriani Sabatani won their semi-final on 2 October. They defeated Philippine opponents Danna Abad and Joshea Malazarte in straight sets, 2-0 (6-0, 6-0).

Their opponents in the gold-medal match will be decided by the other semi-final, between an Indonesian pair and a Japanese pair. Fadona said preparations would remain focused on maintaining their performance as they pursued gold for Indonesia.

Fadona credited composure and communication for helping the pair handle pressure. She said they enjoyed the semi-final more and felt less nervous than on the first two days, allowing them to play more cleanly and put their opponents under pressure.

In comments reported by Indonesia's Ministry of Youth and Sports, Fitriani said the pair were playing with greater cohesion. She added that they felt increasingly at ease and better able to show their abilities as the competition progressed.
