Indonesia finished the opening day of the Denmark Open 2026 without a victory, with all five entries in action on 13 October losing their first-round matches. None advanced to the last 16.

In men's singles, Moh Zaki Ubaidillah lost in straight games to Canada's Victor Lai, the Indonesia Open 2026 champion. Ubaidillah challenged Lai more closely in the second game but could not force a decider.

The other four defeats came in doubles. Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari took the opening game 21-9 against Lauren Lam and Allison Quynh Lee, but lost the next two. The doubles results were:

  • Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin lost to Ben Lane/Sean Vendy: 19-21, 17-21.
  • Sabar Karyaman/M. Reza Pahlevi lost to Hiroki Okamura/Kyohei Yamashita: 18-21, 21-19, 10-21.
  • Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari lost to Lauren Lam/Allison Quynh Lee: 21-9, 20-22, 14-21.
  • Ali Faathir Rayhan/Devin Artha Wahyudi lost to Hu Ke Yuan/Lin Xiang Yi: 14-21, 20-22.

Another Indonesian men's doubles pair, Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin, withdrew because Marthin had an elbow injury. First-round play continues on 14 October, when eight Indonesian entries are scheduled to compete for places in the last 16.
