Isaac del Toro wins Singapore criterium as Eamon Lim finishes eighth
Paul Seixas and Soren Waerenskjold completed the podium, while Lim recorded the best local finish since the event began in 2022.

Mexico’s Isaac del Toro took victory at the Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium on Nov 8, finishing in 1hr 22min 32sec. France’s Paul Seixas placed second and Norway’s Soren Waerenskjold was third after 25 laps around a 2.45km city-centre circuit.
The decisive move came when del Toro, Seixas, Waerenskjold and Swiss rider Mauro Schmid escaped the main group with two laps remaining. Del Toro then attacked alone with 4km to race, pulling clear of Seixas before reaching the finish at the Singapore Recreation Club.
The result followed another contest between del Toro, 22, and Seixas at July’s Tour de France. Del Toro finished third overall and won the white jersey for best young rider, with Seixas fourth. Seixas said he had been close to del Toro in Singapore but could not catch him after the attack.
Singapore rider Eamon Lim, 21, took eighth, the highest placing achieved by a local competitor since the criterium began in 2022. He had been unable to finish in 2025 following a crash and said this result was unexpected.
Lim has signed with Australian UCI Continental track and road team Ccache x Bodywrap for 2027. He said the move would give him more international racing opportunities, mainly through UCI Asia tours in China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan, and that he hoped stronger competition would help him improve faster.
