JDT and Xisco Munoz fined US$13,200 after Buriram match
The AFC penalties bring JDT's disciplinary fines for the 2026-2027 campaign to US$15,200, including an earlier sanction against Eddy Israfilov.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has imposed fines totalling US$13,200 on Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and head coach Xisco Munoz over misconduct and a delayed restart in their Sept 15 Asian Champions League Elite match against Buriram United.
The AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Committee decided the penalties at its Nov 5 meeting. JDT's disciplinary fines for the 2026-2027 campaign now stand at US$15,200, which includes a previous US$2,000 penalty against midfielder Eddy Israfilov following his straight red card in that fixture.
A US$9,450 team-misconduct fine accounted for the largest share of the latest penalties after six JDT players received bookings. The committee said this marked the club's sixth violation during the recidivism period.
JDT must also pay US$2,250 because their officials delayed the second-half kick-off by two minutes. The committee recorded it as the club's third countdown violation. Munoz received a separate US$1,500 fine for not ensuring his players finished preparing and departed the dressing room according to the official countdown.
Buriram were fined US$2,250 for their role in the same delay, while their head coach Mario Silva received a US$1,500 penalty.
The AFC requires all clubs and individuals sanctioned in the decisions to pay their fines within 30 days after notification.
