Neither Lamphun Warriors nor visiting Sukhothai could score at Lamphun Stadium, leaving the hosts seventh in Thai League 1 with 11 points. Sukhothai occupied 10th place with 10 points after the draw.

The match began an hour later than the scheduled 7pm start following heavy rain. Standing water interrupted passing in the opening half, pushing both sides towards longer balls. Conditions were no better after half-time, and chances remained limited as fatigue reduced the tempo late in the game.

In a separate development, Chonburi signed a memorandum of understanding with Paju Frontier FC, who compete in South Korea's K-League 2. The clubs intend to strengthen their relationship through sporting development and knowledge-sharing on coaching and club activities. Their co-operation will cover player development and exchanges, exchanges of coaching staff, and pre-season training camps.

Deputy chairman Annop Singtothong joined technical chairman Witthaya Laohakul in representing Chonburi at the signing. General manager Hwang Bo-Gwan headed the Paju delegation. The agreement is intended to give players and staff opportunities to learn from their counterparts and use that experience to support Chonburi's development.
