Letshaana exits Korea Open after defeat by An Se-young
The Malaysian lost 10-21, 12-21 in the second round as the world number one continued her pursuit of an 11th title this year.

Malaysia’s K. Letshaana was knocked out of the Korea Open by world number one An Se-young, who won their second-round match in 36 minutes. The South Korean prevailed 21-10, 21-12 to advance at the Super 500 tournament.
Letshaana found some openings with returns around the net in the first game, but could not prevent An from taking control. The Malaysian continued to challenge in the second game before the home player completed a straight-games victory.
An, 24, has won every tournament she has entered this year except the All-England, where she lost the March final to China’s Wang Zhi Yi. Wang remains the only player to have beaten her this year.
A Korea Open title would be An’s 11th of the year and 49th overall. Her victories this year include the Malaysia, India, Singapore and Indonesia Opens, along with the Asia Championships, World Championships, China Masters, Asian Games, Denmark Open and French Open.
