Mahesuan stops Bakjo in second round at ONE Friday Fights 175
The Thai fighter recorded his third successive stoppage win, taking his professional record to 82-21.

Mahesuan Aekmuangnon scored three knockdowns against Bakjo Sitkhunma before winning their atomweight Muay Thai bout by technical knockout in Bangkok on October 16, according to ONE Championship. The co-main contest at ONE Friday Fights 175 ended after 2:05 of the second round at Lumpinee Stadium.
Both Thai fighters initially worked at distance, with Mahesuan throwing leg kicks and Bakjo responding with jabs and kicks to the head. Mahesuan later targeted the body to create openings in Bakjo’s guard and landed an uppercut before the opening round ended.
Bakjo tried to use his reach in round two, but Mahesuan trapped him near the ropes and sent him down with a two-punch attack. Mahesuan followed with elbows and punches, then scored two more knockdowns with body shots, prompting the referee to stop the contest.
Elsewhere on the card, Kampeetewada Sitthikul beat Anuar Cisneros by technical knockout after 3:00 of round two in bantamweight Muay Thai. Slatan Jitmuangnon knocked out Babak Haghi after 2:35 of the opening round in their flyweight Muay Thai contest.
