Persija Jakarta moved back to the top of the 2026/2027 Super League after Ivan Mamut's late goal secured victory against Persebaya at Jakarta International Stadium on 7 November. The 1-0 result left Persija with 21 points from nine matches.

Mamut broke the deadlock after receiving a pass from Victor Dethan, with goalkeeper Reza Arya unable to keep out his effort. The goal settled a ninth-round contest in which both sides had missed opportunities.

In the first half, Mamut struggled to control a chance created by Rizky Ridho's header while facing away from goal. Persebaya's Ramadhan Sananta then escaped the offside trap but could only manage a weak shot against Nadeo Argawinata.

Mamut threatened again with a powerful long-range strike in the 34th minute. After the interval, Arya saved another attempt by the Croatian from the left side of Persija's attack.

Kwon Chang Hoon also came close after combining with Rayhan Hannan, sending his shot just above the crossbar. Mamut's eventual finish proved enough to lift Persija ahead of Dewa United.
