Marc Marquez wins Mandalika MotoGP sprint after passing Jorge Martin
Ai Ogura finished second and Fabio di Giannantonio third in Lombok, while an opening-corner collision involved Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi.

Marc Marquez took victory in the Indonesian MotoGP sprint at Mandalika in Lombok on 10 October 2026, recording a time of 19:37.125. Jorge Martin led much of the race but finished fourth after Marquez overtook him with five laps remaining.
Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi collided at the first corner while contesting positions with Fabio di Giannantonio and Marquez. Martin moved into the lead after the incident, with Marquez behind him and Ai Ogura running third through the opening five laps.
On lap six, Martin held a 1.540-second advantage over Marquez. Behind them, Ogura, Pedro Acosta and Di Giannantonio were fighting for third place. Once Marquez moved ahead, Martin was unable to regain the lead.
Martin ran wide on lap 11, allowing Ogura and Di Giannantonio to pass him and secure second and third respectively. Alex Marquez finished fifth, followed by Acosta, Fermin Aldeguer, Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins.
