Natasha Roslan takes World Cup silver after defeat by Manon Clement
The Malaysian bowler will turn to the team competition in Munich after reaching her second consecutive women's singles final.

Malaysia's Natasha Roslan finished runner-up in the IBF World Cup women's singles competition in Munich, Germany, losing 2-1 to France's Manon Clement. The result ended the defending champion's bid for successive titles after her 2025 victory in Hong Kong.
Clement won the first game 231-190, but Natasha levelled the match by taking the second 206-147. The French bowler then secured gold with a 204-168 win in the deciding game.
Natasha said she had wanted to retain the title but remained happy and proud of her silver medal. She said she had given her best and could learn from the competition as she worked to improve.
Her route to the final included 2-0 wins over the Netherlands' Samantha Greiner and fellow Malaysian Sin Li Jane. In the quarter-finals, she recovered from losing the opening game 201-191 to Denmark's Karen Kaergaard Nielsen, winning the next two 216-177 and 196-180. Natasha then beat Sweden's Nora Johansson 211-157, 201-192 in the semi-finals.
Natasha will next compete alongside Li Jane, Adelia Nur Irwan Syazalee and Nur Hazirah Ramli in the team event. She said her focus was on resetting and preparing with her teammates. Malaysia's women took silver at the previous World Cup after losing the team final 3-2 to the United States.
