Organiser says Angkor Kun Khmer drew more than 100,000 spectators
Two Cambodian fighters won world titles, with each securing contracts for three further Fight Clubbing contests.

Italian promoter Fight Clubbing has claimed a world attendance record for active combat sports promotions after reporting a crowd exceeding 100,000 at its October 18 event in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The claim appeared in the organiser’s October 21 statement.
Staged at Angkor Thom’s Elephant Terrace within Angkor Archaeological Park, Fight Clubbing 44 paired Kun Khmer with international combat sports. Fighters representing seven countries competed across seven international bouts, accompanied by drumming and live performances featuring ancient Khmer warrior costumes.
Cambodia’s Thoeun Theara beat Abdoulaye Diallo of Senegal to become Fight Clubbing’s middleweight world champion. Another Cambodian competitor, Eh Ammarinphoutong, took a world title belt as well.
Those wins gave both men contracts covering three further fights at the promotion’s events worldwide. Fight Clubbing chief executive Andrea Sagi Carletti had outlined that arrangement during a press conference on October 15.
According to the organiser, DAZN’s live coverage reached more than 200 countries. Town TV handled programme production and the domestic broadcast. The Cambodian government and National Olympic Committee of Cambodia backed the event, which was attended by Senior Minister Thong Khon, the committee’s president.
