Otusanya hat-trick helps Arema beat RANS 4-0 in I.League Cup
PSM Makassar also won away from home, beating De Red 2-0 with goals from Abdul Rahman and Kodai Tanaka.

Samuel Otusanya scored three times as Arema FC opened their I.League Cup campaign with a 4-0 victory over RANS Nusantara at Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang regency on 3 November. Substitute Hanif Sjahbandi added Arema’s fourth goal.
Both clubs use Kanjuruhan as their home ground, but RANS were the designated hosts for this match. The teams compete in different leagues: Arema play in the Super League, while RANS are in the Championship.
Otusanya put Arema ahead in the 35th minute, finishing a loose ball after the RANS goalkeeper failed to gather a corner. He then capitalised on another defensive error to collect a through ball from Salim and make it 2-0 before half-time.
RANS tried to attack after the interval but could not break through Arema’s defence. Otusanya completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute after intercepting the ball outside the penalty area and advancing to score. Hanif extended the lead in the 66th minute.
In a separate fixture, PSM Makassar secured a 2-0 away win over De Red. Abdul Rahman and Kodai Tanaka scored for PSM.
