Persib Bandung defeated The Cong Viettel at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium on 14 October, with Peralta's first-half penalty securing a 1-0 win in the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Two. Both teams had a player sent off after the interval.

The visitors had an effort ruled out in the 22nd minute. Lucas Ribamar reached a long pass inside the penalty area and beat goalkeeper Teja Pakualam, but was judged offside.

Persib went ahead shortly before half-time after Peralta was brought down in the area. He took the resulting penalty, beating Nguyen Van Viet with a shot to the right.

Viettel were reduced to 10 players in the 67th minute when Paulinho received a second yellow card for fouling Peralta on the wing. Persib's Marc Klok was also dismissed for a second booking in the 74th minute following a midfield foul.

Persib created several chances in the final 10 minutes but added no further goals. The result followed a 1-0 away victory over FC Seoul, giving Igor Tolic's side their second win of the group stage.
