A place in the AFC Champions League 2 last 16 awaits Persib Bandung if they defeat Melbourne Victory away on 4 November. The Indonesian side enter the return fixture having beaten all three Group E opponents in the 2026/2027 competition.

Persib travel to Australia following their biggest victory this season, a 4-0 defeat of Isenmulang Kalteng FC at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium on 1 November. Mariano Peralta contributed one goal and Luka Menalo two as the hosts reached half-time 3-0 ahead. Marc Klok completed the scoring after the break.

Until that result, Igor Tolic’s team had won no official fixture this season by a margin greater than two goals. Their previous results included 3-1 victories against PSM Makassar in the Super League and Port FC in the ASEAN Club Championship, alongside a two-goal winning margin against Melbourne in ACL 2.

With nine points collected against FC Seoul, The Cong Viettel and Melbourne, Persib have three group games left. After the Australian trip, they host FC Seoul in late November before visiting The Cong Viettel in Vietnam in early December.
