Port FC defender Manuel Tom Bihr urged his team to learn from their mistakes after losing 1-3 to Persib Bandung at Thammasat Stadium on 8 October in the ASEAN Club Championship (ACC) 2026/2027.

The 33-year-old said Port FC should take the positives from the defeat and turn their attention to the next match. It was his second loss to Indonesian opposition in less than a week: he also played for Thailand in their defeat by Indonesia in the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 final at GBK Stadium on 5 October.

Jude Soonsup-Bell put Port FC ahead with a penalty in the 66th minute. Mariano Peralta equalised for Persib in the 87th minute, before Berguinho scored at 90+4 and Luka Menalo added another at 90+6 to complete the visitors’ comeback.

Port FC sit sixth in Group B, while Persib are second. Johor Darul Ta'zim lead the group after beating PKR Svay Rieng 6-0. Vietnam’s Cong An Ha Noi are third following a 1-0 victory over Lion City Sailors.

Port FC’s second Group B fixture is away to PKR Svay Rieng at Morodok Techno Stadium on 19 November.
