Emil Audero receives club tribute after Indonesia win FIFA ASEAN Cup
Rayo Vallecano and Athletic Bilbao players honoured the goalkeeper before a Spanish league match that ended 0-0.
Indonesia goalkeeper Emil Audero Mulyadi received a guard of honour ahead of Rayo Vallecano's meeting with Athletic Bilbao on 10 October. The tribute at Campo de Futbol de Vallecas recognised his role in Indonesia's FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 title.
Emil held a white Rayo shirt bearing a message celebrating the ASEAN Cup victory while his club teammates applauded him. Bilbao's players also lined up to pay their respects. Rayo acknowledged the goalkeeper's achievement with Indonesia through its official Instagram account.
The game finished goalless, with Emil playing all 90 minutes. He was not required to make a save because there were no shots on target. Rayo remained 13th in the Spanish league standings, while Bilbao stayed 10th.
Rayo also recognised Florian Lejeuena for earning the highest points total among defenders in La Liga Fantasy for the 2025/2026 season. Before kick-off, a minute's silence commemorated club supporters who had died over the preceding year.
