Persija Jakarta can call on captain Rizky Ridho again for their Super League 2026/2027 meeting with Persik Kediri on 26 October, according to coach Shin Tae Yong. Kick-off at Jakarta International Stadium is set for 19.00 WIB.

An injury sustained during training kept Ridho out of the Arema game on 21 October. At his 25 October press conference in Depok, Shin said the defender and Kyohei Yoshino were among the 23 players selected for the Persik fixture.

Persija sit first in the standings on 15 points. A win would give them a chance to widen their lead after closest challengers Dewa United suffered a 0-4 defeat by Arema FC.

Shin highlighted Persik's pressing and the tight distances between their lines as challenges for his side. He expected a difficult contest but said Persija had drawn up tactics to counter them.

The coach urged his players to stay consistent at the top, maintain the same approach to preparation and always be ready to win. He also wanted the squad to preserve its cohesion until the season ends.
