Selangor coach Kim Pan Gon has told his team to keep attacking rather than defend their narrow advantage when they visit Kuching City at the State Stadium for the FA Cup semi-final second leg.

With Selangor leading 2-1 on aggregate, the South Korean warned that playing cautiously could be costly against the hosts and their home support. He wants his players to approach the match with confidence, seek goals and win to earn a place in the final.

Pan Gon said a final appearance had been a target since pre-season and stressed its importance to both the squad and supporters. Selangor are seeking to end their wait for silverware, while Aidil Sharin Sahak's Kuching City are chasing their first appearance in the final.

The Selangor coach also appealed for committed backing from fans, including those travelling to Sarawak. He said the players would keep supporters in mind as they pursued their goal.
