Singapore will host the inaugural women’s Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Next Up camp from November 18 to 21, 2026, the WNBA, NBA, FIBA and Sport Singapore announced. The programme will bring 80 high-school-age female basketball prospects together to train with current and former players and coaches.

Participants on the coaching and playing staff include Ariel Atkins, Jordin Canada, Bridget Carleton, Chelsea Gray and Brittney Griner, alongside Phoenix Mercury associate head coach Kristi Toliver. Camp activities will combine athletic assessments and movement work with skills training, three-on-three contests, five-on-five games and seminars on life skills. Organisers said the camper roster would be announced later.

Community activities will include a SportSG basketball clinic for 50 girls, plus separate clinics for coaches and referees. Singapore previously hosted BWB Asia in 2010 and 2025, making the November event the country’s third BWB camp.

The NBA and FIBA introduced Next Up as two annual camps, each for 80 prospects from outside the United States: one for men and one for women. Top performers will be chosen for BWB All-Star camps at the following NBA and AT&T WNBA All-Star events. The first men’s Next Up camp took place in Istanbul in August 2026.
