Selangor Red Giants (SRG) beat Team Rey 3-0 at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara to advance to their sixth successive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY) Grand Final. The upper bracket final victory also earned them an M8 World Championships berth.

SRG are seeking a sixth consecutive league title after topping the regular-season standings despite defeats by RRQ Tora, Team Vamos and Team Rey. Jungler Haqqullah "Sekys" Ahmad Shahrul Zaman said reaching the final demonstrated the team's strength after those losses had prompted doubts about their dominance.

Team Rey entered the match having finished second in the regular season and beaten Team Vamos 3-0 in the upper bracket semi-finals. Sekys said SRG respected Team Rey's performances but did not fear them.

Team Rey will next face Team Vamos in the lower bracket final. The winner will take on SRG for the league title and claim Malaysia's second place at M8.
