Sze Fei-Izzuddin beat top-ranked Koreans to reach French Open semi-finals
Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun also advanced, leaving Malaysia with a chance of having both pairs in the men's doubles final.

Malaysia's Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin reached the French Open men's doubles semi-finals by defeating world No. 1 Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae 21-15, 21-18. The sixth seeds completed the win in 36 minutes at Arena Grand Paris.
The world No. 5 pair had been beaten by the South Koreans at both the Japan Open and World Championships in August. Their latest result gives them three wins from seven meetings, including a victory in June's Indonesia Open semi-finals.
Speaking to the Badminton World Federation, Sze Fei said neither he nor Izzuddin was fully fit, prompting them to prioritise shot quality. Izzuddin credited their communication and adherence to their game plan.
They next meet Indonesia's Leo Rolly Carnando-Daniel Marthin, ranked No. 25, having won both previous encounters. A win would secure their fourth World Tour final appearance of the season, following titles at the Indonesia Masters and Indonesia Open and a runners-up finish at the Malaysia Masters.
Fellow Malaysians Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun progressed when Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik retired two minutes into their match. Wei Chong-Kai Wun led 5-0 in the first game; the reason for the retirement was not immediately known.
The world No. 11 pair face Indonesia's Raymond Indra-Nikolaus Joaquin, ranked No. 14, who won their sole previous meeting. Wins for both Malaysian pairs would put them against each other in the final.
