Three Indonesian climbers reach world ranking top three
Putra Tri Ramadani and Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi rank second in their disciplines, while Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi is third in men's speed.

Indonesia has three climbers among the world's top three in their respective disciplines after points were accumulated across World Climbing's 2026 international competitions, national head coach Galar Pandu Asmoro said, as reported by Antara.
Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi holds second place in women's speed with 3,370 points. American Emma Hunt leads with 3,656 points, while Ukraine's Polina Khalkevych is third on 3,075.
In men's lead, Putra Tri Ramadani, also known as Srondeng, ranks second with 3,370 points. Japan's Neo Suzuki tops the standings on 4,405, ahead of Putra and Spain's Alberto Gines Lopez, who has 3,340.
Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi is third in men's speed with 3,426 points, behind Japan's Ryo Omasa on 3,600 and China's Yicheng Zhao on 3,485. Another Indonesian, Raharjati Nursamsa, occupies fourth place with 3,005 points.
Galar credited the achievements to collective efforts by officials, coaches, management, athletes and other stakeholders. He said the team must avoid complacency and was preparing its strategy for 2027, when securing Indonesian places at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics would be a major task.
Desak said she was pleased with her ranking and had enjoyed competing during 2026. The Bali-born climber plans to keep improving ahead of what she expects to be tougher competition, with the aim of qualifying for the Los Angeles Olympics and winning gold.
