Vietnamese gamer Tu has advanced to the last 16 at the FC Pro Mobile World Championship 2026 in Seoul, becoming the only member of Vietnam’s four-player contingent to survive the group stage. The organisers’ draw pairs him with Brazil’s Reiss06.

The opening phase split 32 competitors across eight groups. Players met each group opponent once in matches comprising two games, with the top two in every group progressing. Vietnam’s other entrants were Nguyen Hoang Bao (GLOWxHoangBao), Le Gia Nam (FPLxGiaNam) and Nguyen Cong Dao (VIPxCONGDAO).

Tu qualified directly for the world championship through his runner-up finish at August’s FC Pro Mobile Mid-Season Playoffs in Bangkok. He also won the 2026 FC Mobile Vietnam Super League.

Organised by EA Sports, the Seoul competition is the FC Pro Mobile series’ inaugural world championship. Its US$250,000 prize pool includes US$60,000 for the winner, US$40,000 for second place and US$20,000 apiece for the two joint-third finishers.

The knockout stage uses a best-of-three format for the round of 16. The eight players who win those ties will move into quarterfinal matches lasting up to six games.
