Uriarte takes Mandalika Moto3 pole as Veda Ega qualifies seventh

Malaysia’s Hakim Danish finished second in the opening qualifying session but ended qualifying in 18th place.

Brian Uriarte secured pole position for the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia Moto3 race with a lap of 1 minute 36.861 seconds at Mandalika Circuit in Lombok on 10 October. Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama qualified seventh.

David Alamansa took second on the grid, ahead of Alex Carpe in third. A Fernandez placed fourth, G Pini fifth and Max Quiles sixth. Behind Veda, M Bertelle, A Cruces and C OGortman completed the top 10 in that order.

In the opening qualifying session, Q1, Malaysia’s Hakim Danish held the lead until Scott Ogden displaced him on the final lap. Ogden topped that session with a time of 1 minute 37.73 seconds, followed by Danish and Daniel Munoz. After Q2 determined the final qualifying order, Danish was in 18th place.

Quiles remained at the head of the Moto3 championship standings with 326 points, followed by David Alamansa and Alvaro Carpe. Veda was eighth in the standings with 105 points.
