Malaysia’s Hakim Danish secured third place in Moto3’s second free practice session at Lusail in Qatar on 7 November. Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama finished 18th, unable to improve his lap time before practice ended.

Maximo Quiles set the pace and retained the leading position at the finish. Danish had initially been his closest challenger, but David Almansa later moved into second, leaving the Malaysian third in the final standings.

Veda Ega began the session in seventh before losing ground. The 17-year-old was down to 13th after 10 minutes of running and remained there when the session reached its final 15 minutes.

At that stage, Danish was still holding second place. While he stayed in the leading three through the closing stages, Veda Ega slipped further down the order and ended practice in 18th.
