Veda Ega Pratama faces possible Moto3 points reduction after appeal ruling
FIM has overturned Adrian Fernandez’s disqualification, but the restoration of his points is not automatic.

Veda Ega Pratama could lose points in the 2026 Moto3 standings after FIM’s international appeal court overturned Adrian Fernandez’s disqualification. Veda is seventh with 115 points, and any adjustment could also affect his championship position.
The potential change concerns the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, where Veda finished fourth. Fernandez’s subsequent disqualification moved Veda into third place. If Fernandez’s points are restored, Veda would lose points gained through that promotion.
FIM accepted the appeal lodged by Fernandez and Leopard Racing over suspected interference with two Honda engines. The ruling reverses his disqualification from the opening six rounds, although it does not automatically restore his points. His annulled results could now be reviewed.
Fernandez was disqualified in June 2026 after questions arose over seals on the engines, including indications that they had been opened outside standard procedures. Moto3 rules prohibit work on sealed engines without approval.
The penalty had removed Fernandez’s results from the Thailand, Brazil, United States, Spain, France and Catalunya Grands Prix.
