The RM100,000 top prize in Malaysia’s Piala Cahya Mata 2026 remains up for grabs as eight state title winners prepare for the next stage. Each qualifier has won RM20,000 in prize money in the amateur football tournament.

Negri Sembilan will host the group matches on November 5-7. The eight sides will form two four-team groups, with the first two in each qualifying for the semifinals. Both the semifinals and the final will be played in Kuching.

The qualifiers are Sarawak’s RDPJ FC, Sabah’s AR Gang, Melaka’s Cheng City FC, Bomba Negri Sembilan, Selangor’s MPAJ FC, Perak’s Jendarata FC, Pahang’s TwentyFour FC and Kelantan’s The Bangsal Kopi.

Cahya Mata organised the competition, which drew about 6,400 players representing 256 amateur teams from eight states. Its group managing director, Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Abdul Taib, congratulated the state winners and said the tournament encouraged community participation and healthy lifestyles.

Working with relevant agencies, the organiser carried out 1,387 drug tests to support clean sport. All results returned so far have been negative.
