Veda Ega finishes sixth at Mandalika to end top-10 drought
The Indonesian rider returned to the top 10 after four rounds outside it, with five races remaining in the 2026 Moto3 season.
Veda Ega Pratama took sixth place at Pertamina Moto3 Mandalika on 11 October 2026, ending a run of four rounds without a top-10 finish. He raced among the leading riders at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit and reached second place before finishing sixth.
His previous top-10 result was ninth at the British round. He then placed 20th in Aragon and 18th in San Marino, finishing outside the points at both races.
Veda Ega returned to the points with 13th place in Austria, then improved to 11th in Japan. The Mandalika result brought that sequence of finishes outside the top 10 to an end.
Five rounds remain on the calendar. Following a break, the Australian, Malaysian and Qatari rounds are scheduled on three consecutive weekends. The season then concludes in Europe with races in Portugal and Valencia.
Veda Ega's highest finishing position this season is third, a result he achieved in both Brazil and France.
