Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi’s victory at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia on 11 October 2026 extended Mandalika’s sequence of different race winners to five across five editions. The circuit has yet to produce a repeat winner since the event began in 2022.

Bezzecchi took second position shortly after the start. With only a few laps remaining, he overtook Raul Fernandez after Fernandez made an error and ran wide, putting Bezzecchi on course for the win.

The previous edition, in 2025, was won by Gresini rookie Fermin Aldeguer, with Pedro Acosta and fellow Gresini rider Alex Marquez behind him. Jorge Martin won for Pramac in 2024, finishing ahead of Acosta and Francesco Bagnaia.

Bagnaia had secured Ducati’s victory in 2023, beating Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo. The first edition went to KTM rider Miguel Oliveira in 2022, ahead of Quartararo and Johann Zarco.

There was also a separate milestone for Marc Marquez in the 2026 race: he reached the finish of a grand prix at Mandalika for the first time.
