Quiles seals Moto3 world title at Mandalika as Veda Ega finishes sixth
Veda Ega Pratama started seventh and finished 12.017 seconds behind the winner at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit.

Maximo Quiles clinched the 2026 Moto3 world championship with victory in the Pertamina Moto3 Mandalika race on 11 October 2026. Veda Ega Pratama took sixth place after overtaking Guido Pini on the final lap.
Quiles completed the race in 32 minutes, 36.821 seconds. David Almansa finished second, 2.994 seconds behind, while Brian Uriarte secured third with a gap of 5.156 seconds to the winner. Matteo Bertelle and Rico Salmela rounded out the top five.
Starting sixth, Quiles advanced to second early in the race, then took the lead after an error dropped Almansa to eighth. His advantage over Almansa later reached 2.6 seconds before a wide-running moment reduced it to 1.6 seconds.
Veda Ega climbed from seventh on the grid to second on lap two, but subsequently lost places to Adrian Fernandez and Alvaro Carpe. He continued to move through the order, reaching fifth on lap 16 after passing Pini and Salmela.
On lap 18, passes by Salmela, Pini and Fernandez pushed Veda Ega back to eighth. He recovered two places before the finish, ending 12.017 seconds behind Quiles. Hakim Danish finished 14th.
